Shipping Instructions
for Clients in other countries

Any of the international courier companies (FedEx, UPS, DHL) will deliver samples to us, but by far the most reliable, least problematic and most cost effective is the international EMS Courier System which is operated by each national postal service as part of an international convention.

In most countries, it is given a name like Express Post or Speed Post International. It offers all of the advantages of other courier systems (pick up at your facility, tracking, etc.) but is usually less expensive. Packages sent by EMS seem to experience less trouble getting through Canadian Border inspection than those sent by other commercial couriers.

Because these packages are crossing a national border, you will be required to complete a Customs Declaration.  You should declare its value for customs purposes as $5, and the content should be declared as “preserved medical diagnostic sample, non-hazardous, non-infectious”.
